Learning outcomes

Examine theoretical approaches and narrative choices used in the creation of Asian worlds in various creative and literary texts.

Evaluate how contemporary texts make use of different conventions to understand gender, sexuality, identity, postcolonialism, otherness and/or other key themes in Asian societies.

Critically analyse film as a source of evidence and identify the ethical implications of how it creates real and/or imagined worlds.

4.

Apply analytical techniques, effective communication skills, and conventions of the discipline to create an evidence-based argument.
