Unit content:Veterinary Professional Life (VPL) is a whole-of-course professional curriculum, guiding the development of the key competencies important to professional success. This unit introduces the foundational framework and enabling skills within the VPL themes: Professional Skills for Success; Scientific Basis of Veterinary Medicine; and Veterinary Professional Practice. The workshops includes discussions on the following topics in a veterinary context; Goal setting, Teamwork, Business skills, Communication skills, Ethical reasoning, Empathy and Compassion, and Mindfulness.
