Unit content:Topics will include strategies for providing effective migration advice to clients; preparation of legal research plans and memoranda; advocacy and communication skills including interviewing and letter writing; an introduction to the professional and ethical responsibilities in running a migration practice with a focus on file management and financial aspects; alternatives to law and policy when dealing with complex legal issues.
