Unit content:Fundamental elements of this unit are the skills diagnostic and skills development experiences encouraging you to reflect on and develop your own skills independently. Each experience within the unit: • gives you tools to assess your own capabilities in relation to a range of enterprise skills; • encourages you to reflect on these capabilities; • allows you to understand why a particular skill is relevant to your career; • offers practical opportunities to develop skills in these areas. The Career Learning Experiences are anticipated to fit around your timetables; as most activities are flexible and you can negotiate hours to suit your own time constraints. Successful completion of this unit requires that you demonstrate progression in practical proficiency in the career skill domains. The final assessment both gauges skills development and incorporates a goal-setting plan outlining how further skills development will be achieved in the future.
