Additional information
This is a work placement unit, there will be significant learning that goes on in the workplace. This unit creates an academic structure around a work placement. Much of the assessment is asking you, the student, to reflect on and learn from the experience. Most of the assessments are written and you should take this opportunity to consistently improve your written communication skills. Many of the written assessment tasks will be reflective, but you should closely look at the learning outcomes for a guide on what we might expect to be covered across all your written submissions.
There are no timetabled classes associated with this unit.
This unit is based around students self-sourcing an internship and links to find an internship are provided below. Internships may be paid OR unpaid.
As this is a 3 credit point unit, we expect you to spend 150 hours overall working on this unit, with approximately 100 hours spent in the workplace.
