Unit content:
In this unit we study the war in Europe from 1939 to 1945. Topics include Dunkirk; Blitzkrieg; the German occupation of Norway; the French resistance; the siege of Leningrad; the Warsaw Ghetto uprising; collaboration in Ukraine; the Italian surrender; the meaning of neutrality; the bombing of Dresden; the Yalta Conference.
