Conduct a wind resource feasibility study using methods based on measured data as well as using industry-standard software
Demonstrate mastery of theoretical knowledge of the aerodynamic and dynamic loads on wind turbines and use these technical skills to evaluate the design and manufacture of wind turbines
Investigate and analyse different power configurations of wind turbines as well as different methods to control wind turbine operation
Communicate and evaluate professional practice in planning, designing, installing and operating wind farms
Conduct a resource assessment for a potential hydropower installation
Use cognitive, technical and creative skills to size a micro hydro system for a particular resource and load and give recommendations for the type of system required
