Additional information
This unit builds upon the previous studies in the area of instrumentation and control and four major topics within the area of process control and safety systems. These include HAZOPS – Hazard and Operability study include the computer based version cHAZOPS; Process and Functional Safety including personal and process safety, risk management, bow tie analysis, Australian standards, lifecycle analysis; LOPA – Layers of Protection Analysis including practical application, calculation and probability and protection analysis and philosophical, methodical and economic perspectives of designing, commissioning and operating an industrial control system.
