Learning outcomes

Approach a digital painting project by considering client brief, genre, style, and related requirements.
2.
Be able to consider various compositions through thumbnails and exploration of silhouette.
3.
Demonstrate a good understanding of painting fundamentals, and competence with a variety of digital painting techniques.
4.
Create a set of commercially acceptable digital paintings, both in terms of quality and production method.
5.
Be able to express knowledge of painting principles and techniques in both written (discussion based, or essay) and demonstrated (created works) forms.
