Learning outcomes

1.
Interdisciplinarity: Discuss the rationale for interdisciplinary approaches to epidemiological solutions for wildlife disease problems.
2.
Knowledge: Describe the factors that contribute to disease in populations, ways of measuring, monitoring and describing disease in populations, and tools for evaluating and communicating the risk of disease in a given population.
3.
Skills: Able to conduct a Disease Risk Analysis, and basic approaches to disease surveillance studies in wildlife populations.
4.
Application: Able to apply epidemiological approaches to wildlife conservation issues, including specific tools and methods for conservation programs.
