Unit content:

* To give students an understanding of how to establish strategies, structures, systems, cultures and rewards that enable knowledge creation, innovation and organisational learning.

* To give students an understanding of knowledge management and organisational learning, their applications for: Improving management systems and practices; Adding value to products, services, brand and other tangible and intangible assets; Solving complex (wicked) problems in organisations, societies and the environment.

* To enable students to understand how knowledge is created, shared, disseminated and advanced within organisations and societies.

* To enable students to understand the issues and challenges facing leaders and managers seeking to  construct innovative solutions to intractable problems
