This unit is restricted to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students who entered Veterinary or Biomedical Science through the Waardong program, or by permission from the Academic Chair.

Unit content:Commencing with a study of all matter at an atomic level, students will progress through to how matter is described, arranged and combined into molecules and substances. How substances react and the outcome of those reactions together with calculation skills to measure and predict will then lead into the properties and applications of chemicals and their application in society.
