Learning outcomes

1.

Acquire research data that can be appropriately analysed and used as the basis for answering research questions and testing research hypotheses.

 

2.

Analyse and interpret results from statistical tests or qualitative analytic techniques appropriate to answering research questions and testing hypotheses within the context of a clinical psychology research study.

3.

Examine the cultural considerations (including relevant ethics codes and statements) of a clinical research project, including ethical guidelines for research with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and other equity groups.

Unit content:

This unit consists of students working under supervision and in collaboration with other members of their research team. Assistance with data analysis can be obtained in consultation with individual supervisors where required.
