Learning outcomes

Describe what the profession of Counselling is (and is not);
2.
Discuss the core abilities relevant to successful Counselling relationships;
3.
Demonstrate competence in core Counselling abilities in the context of supervised peer-practice;
4.
Demonstrate an ability to reflect upon and articulate your own subjective experience in relation to the Counselling process;
5.
Describe your own emerging orientation to Counselling, the theoretical and philosophical frameworks, any research evidence pertaining to this conceptualization, and how it fits with major Counselling models.
