Learning outcomes

Examine how students’ mathematical thinking develops and apply this to identifying and addressing students’ learning needs and misconceptions.

Apply the concepts, structure and organisational framework of formal curriculum for teaching mathematics.

Design learning experiences and plans which utilise appropriate pedagogy for teaching and assessment to promote student learning in mathematics. 

4.

Construct and evaluate short and long-term plans of mathematical content.
