Provide a rationale for the inclusion of Humanities and Social Sciences in the Early Years Learning Framework and Primary Curriculum (Australian Curriculum).

Discuss recent developments in Humanities and Social Sciences, including the need to promote active and responsible citizenship, showing how they inform your teaching philosophy.

Demonstrate a critical awareness, understanding and facility with, the curriculum materials currently available for use in Humanities and Social Sciences.

4.

Use a range of teaching strategies and resources to help learners to use an investigative approach to Humanities and Social Sciences learning.

5.

Prepare effective lessons and programs of work based on the Humanities and Social Sciences curriculum material that will promote a high level of interest and involvement for early childhood and primary learners.
