Unit content:
- Ethical, discourse and rhetorical approaches will set up the context in which students learn about and practise their writing and editing skills.
- Students will explore (through reading and writing) a range of texts, genres and styles, and learn how to evaluate them critically.
- Students will learn about the principles, practices and techniques of editing, and apply those skills in editing a range of professional texts.
- Students will develop their capacities as professional communicators.
