Unit content:

In this unit you will hear from a range of leading experts. These experts will talk about their research strategies, approaches, key themes they focus upon and some of the challenges they have faced. The unit aims to provide you with diverse, and sound background knowledge in a broad range of research areas. As students undertaking masters level study, it is important to be build your skills in undertaking research. Key to beginning on this path is to develop your capacity to identify robust and appropriate methods for collecting, organising and analysing data in order to generate effective outcomes that lead to the betterment of society.  

GOV600 is intentionally broad in its scope, it will provide you with the opportunity to listen, to engage with ideas and share your experiences with your colleagues.
