Additional information

Unit content:

The unit is divided into three conceptual blocks: 1. Cell biology and physiological processes; 2. Diversity, morphology and evolution of microalgae, macroalgae and marine angiosperms; 3. Environmental factors affecting growth and functioning of marine algae and plants, including human impacts and human uses. These topics will be presented in blocks of lectures throughout the semester, and supported/illustrated in laboratory classes presented each week.
