Communicate knowledge of the international protocols and frameworks that underpin the international efforts to reduce global greenhouse gas (carbon) emissions.
Establish the main policy and financial instruments used to manage carbon emissions at the national level and discuss their relative advantages and disadvantages.
Explain knowledge of the economic and financial concepts related to carbon management including marginal abatement cost curves (MACCs).
Establish how to develop and get buy-in for credible carbon management strategies and plans at entity level.
Apply the relevant standards to develop and effectively communicate a corporate carbon reduction or neutral strategy.
