Describe the principles of research organisation and planning.

Unit content:This unit covers the following specific areas: • Designing and preparing research proposals • Using the literature for devising and evaluating research • Critical review of the literature • Theoretical underpinning of research methodology and problem-solving • Critical thinking • Oral communication skills • Thesis writing, abstracts and research design • Poster preparation and presentation • Instruction on key practical skills used in conducting research, such as computer packages, internet resources, and library facilities.
