Learning outcomes

1.

Demonstrate knowledge of the fundamental theories and practices of screen production

2.

Apply that knowledge practically by:

  • developing proficiency in the skills of camera, editing, lighting, directing and location shooting procedures (including working with a crew and/or cast).
  • revealing an ability to work collaboratively with other persons and students on assessed projects including a final film and TV studio production and and/or various in class
3.

Demonstrate good written, visual, and oral communication skills in tasks such as pitching, writing synopses, treatments, and storyboards

4.

Grasp the fundamental roles and practices of a TV studio and virtual set environment, and reveal an application of this knowledge and skillset through the creation of an assessed studio production
