This unit will involve theoretical engagement with texts from the early modern era, including William Shakespeare and his contemporaries. Students will be able to engage with the texts from a creative and/or theoretical perspective. Both approaches will include critically informed examinations of a range of plays, exploring different theoretical perspectives. Students will be expected to read a wide variety of dramatic texts and supplementary materials.
