Unit content:This unit offers an in-depth examination of the critical field of strategic communication management within organisations, research and related topics. The aims of this unit are to:
1. Emphasise the theoretical underpinnings of strategic communications management and how the discipline intersects with key aspects of public relations, marketing, communication and management
2. Highlight the practical application of theoretical concepts and research methods in real life organisational situations
3. Develop higher level academic presentation and research skills within a communications context.
