Students are supported to organise their own placements and may need to complete documentation to have them approved by the unit coordinator. Students will be given suggestions and ideas about types of internships that may be available and how to go about gaining one. In the past, students have undertaken a wide variety of internships, including in/for large and small businesses, local, state and federal government agencies, parliamentary offices, and non-government organisations such as community service organisations and environmental centres.
