Learning outcomes
1.
Explain theoretical concepts, historical trends, and empirical evidence underpinning relationship between brain and behaviour.
2.
Describe brain structures, brain mechanisms and be able to apply that knowledge to explain normal and abnormal behaviours.
3.
Critically evaluate research methods, research designs and technologies that are used to examine the brain structures and functions.
4.
Design and conduct various in-class experiments to further examine physiological bases of behaviours, including sensory experiences, movement, sleep, memory, learning, motivations, emotions, addiction, and stress.
5.
Identify, describe, and critique the human behaviour literature and evidence in a written report
