Learning outcomes
1.
A sound knowledge and understanding of the legal, political and moral issues relating to juridical norms whose purpose is to protect human rights;
2.
A sound knowledge and understanding of the international human rights legal regimes and their main features and the procedures available for the implementation and enforcement of international human rights law;
3.
The ability to critically assess the legal and political significance and deficiencies of international human rights instruments; and
4.
The ability to conduct independent research in the field of international human rights law and theorize on human rights law concepts.

The ST3 enrolment option for this unit is offered as part of the International Human Rights Law Program in Geneva, Switzerland. Enrolment in this program is by application, and applications require payment of a deposit.
