Demonstrate knowledge of main production principles of sustainable livestock production systems in the context of the beef, pig and poultry industries, including reproduction, genetics, nutrition, animal welfare and cost of production.

Apply knowledge to identify and solve problems relevant to beef, pig and poultry production and make recommendations for best-practice management using evidence-based practice

Apply skills in measuring pasture growth dynamics in the context of soil fertility and a grazing animal system to solve problems related to animal and pasture productivity and the sustainability of the farming system
