Demonstrate consistent professional and ethical practice whilst on placement at Murdoch Psychology Clinic (MPC) by adhering to all MPC policies and procedures, and by establishing and maintaining effective interpersonal relationships with peers, staff, and referral agencies.
Apply an integrated knowledge of psychological theory and evidence to clinical practice in the domains of aetiology, assessment, diagnosis, formulation, intervention/therapy, and evaluation in line with AHPRA domains of competency.
Engage in critical reflective practice through self-review of therapeutic process and decision making in supervision sessions and reflective journaling, and apply these skills to develop moment-to-moment awareness and reflection during therapeutic work.
Synthesise, organise, and communicate clinical information using respectful, culturally appropriate language and effective verbal and written communication skills in case documentation, report writing, interviews, correspondence, and consultation with clients and colleagues.
Demonstrate ability to engage openly and fully in the supervisory process and effectively respond to feedback.

Additional information
Students who have current mental health issues or major health issues impacting on their practice should raise this with the unit chair prior to enrolment. In accordance with the AHPRA guidelines, competency to practice may affect a student’s ability to enrol in the practicum or require them to withdraw from the practicum.
