Demonstrate knowledge of pathology associated with the body systems of domestic animals, by: (a) Describing the pathogenesis and pathophysiological processes of diseases in these systems and their clinical manifestations. (b) Recognising clinical, histopathological and gross anatomic features (lesions) associated with these diseases.
Critically analyse information to solve problems associated with disease or injury, for example by: (a) Interpreting relevant data (e.g., clinical and anatomic pathology, clinical signs, history/signalment) to diagnose a pathological process. (b) Comparing and recommending appropriate diagnostic tests to confirm or narrow the diagnosis.
Effectively communicate, using appropriate terminology, the pathophysiology and laboratory manifestations of diseases to colleagues and lay members of the community.
Demonstrate proficiency in practical skills in veterinary pathology including diagnostic microscopy and interpretation of images.
Consistently demonstrate professional conduct through compliance with relevant policies, and maintaining the professional behaviours and attitudes expected in the veterinary profession, including awareness of your own limitations.
