Synthesize and apply knowledge of Year 11-12 secondary school students and how they learn through English specific lesson planning, resource design and enactment of teaching, catering for student diversity.
Synthesize and apply knowledge of Year 11-12 English curriculum content and how to teach it, include use of ICT and literacy and numeracy strategies with a focus of catering for student diversity.
Proactively create and maintain supportive inclusive and safe learning environments, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander student learning needs.
Evaluate student learning using a range of assessment strategies and report to students, parents and other stakeholders in the Year 11-12 English curriculum context.
Critique a range of resources available for ongoing professional learning in the Year 11-12 English curriculum context through unit and practicum experiences.
Collaborate professionally with colleagues, teachers, parents/carers and the community that can assist in planning and implementing effective teaching and learning in the Year 11-12 English context through unit and practicum experiences.
