Learning outcomes

1.

Students will be able to critically revaluate existing psychological research to determine contribution to addressing major questions in mental health sciences, and to identify gaps in the research.

2.

Students will be able to demonstrate the ability to design psychology research with consideration for practical, methodological and ethical research constraints.

3.

Students will be able to effectively identify common data analysis procedures used in clinical research.

4.

Students will be able to effectively develop a proposal for a psychology research project using APA formatting conventions.
