Learning outcomes

1.

Analyse a range of instructional strategies and select those most appropriate for the teaching context and the specific needs of students.

2.

Outline teaching strategies for establishing and maintaining a positive learning environment, embedding a range of strategies to prevent and respond to challenging student behaviours.

3.

Create plans for two consecutive learning experiences, with appropriate assessments, using two different instructional approaches and corresponding instructional strategies and justify with reference to theory and research.

4.

From a professional teaching perspective, critically reflect on the design and planning processes.
