Students with a background in environmental science/studies and/or public policy and well developed writing skills are best positioned for this unit
Enrolment in C1118 Graduate Certificate in Environmental Assessment and Management, G1053 Graduate Diploma in Environmental Science, M1210 Master of Environmental Science or G1062 Graduate Diploma in Energy and the Environment or M1330 Master of Engineering Practice or M1214 Master of Sustainable Development or G1090 Graduate Diploma in Food Security or M1311 Master of Food Security or M1248 Master of Biosecurity.

Unit content:

This unit will provide you with a broad understanding of environmental policy, including policy writing and implementation. Emphasis is on policy underpinned by science, and policies as solutions to environmental problems.
