Evaluate the role and effectiveness of Australian business governance frameworks and regulatory obligations

This unit will cover the following topic areas: Australian Regulatory Framework for business; Business Associations, establishment, operations and stakeholder management; The role and nature of Australian Accounting Standards for Financial Reporting/ International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS); Obligations, responsibilities and risks for business owners and directors including audit, taxation and financial reporting.
This unit is not recommended to be taken by students in their first semester of enrolment.
