Learning outcomes
1.
Describe the Australian legal system in the context of the business world;
2.
Identify the basic legal rules and principles of agency law, partnership law, contract law and tort law;
3.
Identify situations where legal advice is necessary and communicate in an intelligent and informed manner with legal advisors on agency and contractual matters;
4.
Critically analyse a hypothetical legal problem and clearly and coherently advise a hypothetical client on the relevant legal issues and support the advice by reference to primary sources.
