Learning outcomes

1.

Synthesize professional knowledge and practice to plan responses to the academic, behavioural and social needs of diverse students, including those with disabilities, medical conditions and learning difficulties. 

2.

Design and evaluate programs, interventions, adaptations and accommodations which modify and differentiate curriculum, teaching strategies and the learning environment to support and respond to students with diverse needs.

3.

Evaluate, select and apply pedagogies which respond to diverse students' academic, behavioural and social needs, to support their wellbeing and safety to maximise learning.

4.

Evaluate and articulate teaching approaches to respond to critical issues, laws, mandate policies and ethical principles in regard students with disabilities, medical conditions or learning difficulties.
