Learning outcomes

1.

Appraise changing contexts in relation to the agronomic, environmental, sociopolitical and economic challenges that impact food security.

2.

Apply key information from scientific and regulatory sources regarding the food value chain, food losses, and the complexities that exist between global food production and agricultural markets and trade to achieve effective solutions.

3.

Research, synthesise, organise and present information using a range of
technologies.

4.

Argue using published evidence and communicate effectively in a range of formats to various audiences.

5.

Demonstrate expertise in at least one specialist area of relevance to food security.
