Additional information

Unit content:

The approach to learning in this unit is to identify a solution to a key global food security challenge. Students will examine a range of food security issues that need to be addressed such as food production, food distribution, future foods, sustainable agriculture, food waste, food politics, food habits, biological and nutritional security, gender, community engagement, globalisation, and international trade and policy.
Students will develop a solution to a selected issue and examine this in depth, to demonstrate the ability to integrate information across a broad range of disciplines to solve applied problems in changing situations
