Demonstrate critical awareness, understanding and facility with curriculum resources available from the School Curriculum and Standards Authority (WA) relevant to the teaching, learning and assessing of Health Studies and Physical Education Studies in Years 11-12.

Demonstrate understanding of the Year 11-12 Health Studies, and Physical Education Studies content at a level required to teach competently and confidently.

Critique a range of teaching, learning and assessment strategies plus professional learning opportunities, and apply knowledge of Year 11-12 students and how they learn, in the context of senior secondary Health and Physical Education courses.

For a set program topic, create and/or curate teaching, learning and assessment resources using technologies to promote high levels of student interest and engagement enacted through a micro-teaching experience. 

Differentiate and contextualise learning experiences to meet Year 11-12 student’s cultural background and specific learning needs with particular reference to Indigenous knowledge and understandings.
