Acquire knowledge and experience of a range of creative arts therapy modalities, materials, processes and skills that can be used to enrich the counselling process.
Demonstrate a depth of engagement when working with this knowledge and experience to develop imaginative and expressive responses that explore situational and individual experiences.
Gain understanding of the philosophical and theoretical frameworks that informs the creative arts therapies, with specific focus on the use of imagery and metaphor, as a counselling medium.
Identify the characteristics of the arts therapies with which you resonate and choose to develop further in your practice as a counsellor.
Articulate your position in relation to working with the creative arts therapies in counselling and be able to substantiate your position with reference to your experiential learning and reading of the philosophical and theoretical literature.
