Read and write simple cohesive texts in Japanese with approximately 70 new kanji.

Comprehend short to medium passages and moderately paced conversations in formal Japanese.
3.
Apply grammatical structures and vocabulary to generate conversations on everyday topics.

Describe Japanese culture in relation to its inter-cultural communication practices.
