Additional information
This unit introduces students to the functions of recruitment and selection of talent as part of human
resource management. It aims to give students an understanding of the role of talent acquisition (TAQ) and
its effectiveness in meeting the goals of the organisation. The unit will prepare students to undertake
human resource planning, conduct job analysis and apply various selection methods. Students will acquire
knowledge and skills to undertake professional employment interviews, utilise job performance predictors
to make hiring decisions and develop strategies for on‐boarding.
