Learning outcomes
1.
Solve clinical problems for an individual bovine animal for common and emergency cattle diseases in Australasia
2.
Solve clinical problems in bovine herds for common and emergency cattle disease in Australasia
3.
Critically analyse data to solve and manage problems, in the following scenarios:
- The selection and management of bulls and heifers for high fertility.
- An infertility problem in both beef and dairy herds.
- Feedlot planning, meeting targets for processing and feedlot nutrition.
4.
Analyse and evaluate the impact of production health economic data in the context of production-related diseases and infectious diseases.
5.
Demonstrate an ability to effectively complete clinical procedures eg restraint, blood collection, regional anaesthesia, uterine suturing, mastitis field diagnosis etc
